About Mr Nassar
Training
Mr Nassar graduated from the University of Edinburgh and trained as a junior doctor at the Ministry of Defence Hospital Unit in Portsmouth while serving as a Royal Air Force medical officer. He trained in plastic surgery in Scotland and then at the Melanoma Institute Australia in Sydney, concentrating on complex melanoma and skin cancer.

He has more than ten years’ experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery and works mainly at St John’s Hospital and the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh, treating melanoma and skin cancer, operating on the breast and reconstructing after major cancer surgery. His research has been published in plastic surgery journals and recognised with awards at international conferences.
