The people behind your care
Waterfront Private Hospital was founded by consultant plastic surgeons Mr Awf Quaba and Mr Omar Quaba, and is independently owned and led by them. It was built to do one thing well: provide high-quality surgical care in a calm, considered setting in Edinburgh.
A hospital runs on far more than its surgeons. Ours depends just as much on our nursing team and on the patient liaison and administrative staff who look after you day to day — from your first enquiry, through your treatment, to your aftercare. They are a large part of why care here feels personal and well organised.
It also means continuity of care. The consultant who assesses you is the one who carries out your treatment and reviews you afterwards, so there are no handovers between surgeons — just one familiar team seeing you through.
The hospital
Our purpose-built hospital has been designed with patient comfort in mind.
The ground floor is equipped with a theatre for day case procedures under general anaesthetic, as well as rooms for admission and recovery.
On the first floor we have a light-filled, calming waiting area for patients arriving for consultations, procedures under local anaesthesia, non-surgical procedures and post-surgery follow-ups.
