Straightforward & compassionate
I arrived full of worry about having a difficult procedure. From the start, staff were positive and helpful. The doctor at my consultation was reassuring, which was nice, but carefully and fully explained his assessments and recommendations, which was something not always or even often encountered--a big load off my mind, and some good cheer.

I am now 10 months post breast augmentation with Dr Quaba, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with my decision!
After researching for quite some time, I had consultations with a few different surgeons, but Dr Quaba was by far the one I felt most comfortable and at ease with. Having undergone open-heart surgery as a little girl, going under anaesthetic was something I had thought long and hard about, and I had been sitting on the fence about having breast augmentation for years. It was so important for me to find a surgeon I felt I could completely trust, and Dr Quaba gave me that confidence.
After having four children and breastfeeding them all, I felt I had lost so much of my natural breast tissue. My confidence, especially wearing swimwear on holiday, just wasn’t where I wanted it to be anymore.
Looking back now, I honestly wish I had done it years ago! The difference it has made to my confidence has been amazing, and I’m so glad I finally took the step. From my initial consultations to the whole experience, I felt reassured and in safe hands.
I cannot recommend Dr Quaba enough. I genuinely recommend him to everyone I speak to who is considering breast augmentation. If you’re sitting on the fence like I was, I would definitely recommend booking a consultation and having that conversation.

Excellent from start to finish, beautiful hospital, staff from reception, nurses and of course the wonderful Omar, all excellent. After a long look at various hospitals, doctors etc decided to go to the Waterfront Hospital, friendly polite and listened to my concerns, I was given truthful advice and oh my god Omar knows what he’s talking about, he removed my festoons, hardly any bruising no pain, just perfection. 10/10 would definitely recommend

Routine Skin Check
Had my six monthly skin review a month early as I had noticed a lesion near my eye. Dr Aldridge seen me within 48 hours and surgery arranged for a couple of weeks later to have the lesion removed (which was diagnosed as as an early skin cancer). Extremely efficient service yet again from Waterfront and being able to have these skin checks done routinely alleviates any worries for me as a person that has had several skin cancers over the years.

The hospital was easy to locate and parking was ample. On arrival all staff were welcoming. Dr Ben Aldridge was very pleasant and professional. However I would say the fee of £200 is quite excessive, as my assessment took less than 5 minutes and I felt the Dr was asking, if there was anything else he could help with as I was diagnosed so quickly …however the appointment has given me peace of mind and so I am pleased with that.

Wonderful experience with Mr Awf Quaba
My experience at The Waterfront Private Hospital was nothing short of amazing. I am a returning patient of Mr Awf Quaba and will continue to choose him and The Waterfront, especially after my positive recent experience.
The hospital was clean, luxurious and smelt amazing on entry. I was given a very warm welcome by the staff members and taken to a lovely waiting area which helped to put me at ease before the procedure. I was then looked after by the nurse and taken to my room to be prepared for surgery.
Before the operation, I was visited by my surgeon, Mr. Awf Quaba where we shared a lovely chat and I was able to ask questions - this further eased my nerves of surgery and created a sense of calm.
The procedure itself felt like it was over with a blink of an eye. Waking up, comfortably rested in recovery where I was looked after by the wonderful nursing and healthcare staff.
Mr. Quaba did an absolutely fantastic job, as always. He is exceptionally talented and a true master of Plastic Surgery. I will always choose him as he is one of the most knowledgeable practitioners, excels in precision and makes the patient comfortable.
Overall, I am very pleased with my results and would greatly recommend The Waterfront private hospital.

i was well looked atfer from the minute I walked into the hospital there was a receptionist at the door who lead me upstair to where the waiting area was with tea coffee ect.and biscuits to have , Iwas booked in at the reception there .When I went into see Awf he explained in detail what would happen and I he helped me decide how far with my surgery I would like to go because i wasnt sure if I needed top eye lift and he helped me decide also explaining how the surgery would be carried out and the aftercare showing me before and after photos I have been to a couple of other hospitals to look at having surgery but for one reason or another I wasnt happy with the experience it felt more like a company than a place where I would have surgery done, but waterfront gave me the confidence to have my surgery done I was treated like a patient and I would also be well cared for before and after surgery

This private aesthetic medical clinic is to be commended. If you're considering surgery you will be in the hands of one of the Uk's top surgeons. I'm a doctor having sent many clients for face
lifts and have always been impressed by the effective yet natural results . The Waterfront hospital itself is both professional as one would expect for this type of surgery and "state of the art " aesthetically. 5 star - from start to finish. Excellent.
First point of contact- the receptionists were warm, friendly and smiling, which was welcoming.
I asked if Mr Quaba was free to say ‘hello’. Understandably- Mr Quaba was busy with consultations. I had only ever had Mr Quaba in the past, last visit being 2022- for Botox etc to make my face look less tired for attending my daughter wedding.
With my son now getting married the first thing for me to do was repeat the process.
I consulted with Dr Katy Nassar, what a delightful Doctor- lovely. Caring, gentle and kind.
I give my visit to the team 5 stars.
Thank you kindly.

This hospital and its team are truly exceptional. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are met with kindness, warmth, and genuine care. Every member of staff makes you feel welcomed, valued, and safe, which means so much when you’re feeling vulnerable.
My surgeon took on my case after a traumatic experience elsewhere left me battling sepsis and without one of my implants. Physically and emotionally, it was an incredibly difficult time, and I had lost confidence in seeking further treatment. I was frightened about undergoing surgery again and struggled to find anyone willing to help. Mr Anderson at Waterfront listened with compassion and understanding, arranging a consultation that would ultimately change everything for me.
My surgeon not only restored my confidence but also gave me back a part of myself that I thought I had lost. His skill, professionalism, and calm, reassuring manner were remarkable throughout. I will always be grateful for the care and dedication he showed me.
On the morning of my surgery, I was welcomed into a private room where everything was explained carefully and thoughtfully. There was never any feeling of being rushed, and every question I had was answered with patience and kindness. The whole experience felt personal, supportive, and centred around my wellbeing.
The anaesthetist and theatre nurse were equally wonderful. Their warmth and attentiveness helped ease my nerves, and I felt completely looked after from beginning to end. It was clear that they genuinely cared, and that reassurance meant more than words can express.
Having experienced poor aftercare elsewhere, this was naturally one of my biggest concerns. However, the aftercare I received at Waterfront was outstanding. The staff were attentive, compassionate, and incredibly thorough, giving me complete confidence that I was in safe hands throughout my recovery.
What began as one of the most difficult experiences of my life has been transformed into one of healing, hope, and renewed confidence. I cannot thank the entire team at Waterfront enough for the exceptional care they provided. Their kindness, professionalism, and compassion made all the difference during a time when I felt at my most vulnerable.
Thank you for helping me close such a difficult chapter and move forward with confidence again. I would recommend Waterfront wholeheartedly to anyone considering surgery.

Not the outcome I expected.
My experience with this surgeon was disappointing. After undergoing both upper and lower blepharoplasty, I was left with a significant indentation under one eye. I attempted to correct it with filler, but it did not resolve the issue enough to restore a normal contour. Despite raising my concerns, I did not receive adequate support, explanation, or a meaningful plan for correction. I am now looking elsewhere for corrective options. I would advise anyone considering this procedure to research thoroughly and ensure they choose a surgeon who provides comprehensive aftercare.

It took a bit longer than expected to get an appointment, and it would have been helpful if I had been provided some printed take-home care instructions, as it can be difficult to retain information when you're feeling a bit anxious. I'm early in the healing stage but everything looks good so far. Thank you!

I had a really positive experience with my implant removal surgery at Waterfront private Hospital. All of the staff were friendly, kind and professional throughout, which made the whole process feel much easier.

My surgeon Mr Anderson was brilliant. He is very experienced and knowledgeable, but also empathetic, reassuring and has a great sense of humour, which really helped put me at ease. I felt listened to and completely in safe hands.

The only reason I’ve given 4 stars rather than 5 is that email responses weren’t always as quick as I would have liked, especially when I had questions or needed reassurance. That said, the care I received in person was excellent, and overall I’m very happy with my experience.

I did my research and this was the third consultation that I booked and paid for. This one was by far the most detailed and gave me the most confidence. It was my third consultation and I had already made my decision to with another surgeon prior to this consultation but as I had already paid rather than cancel I thought I might as well attend. This surgeon was a lot harder to get dates and although I have not had the surgery yet im so glad I waited. I booked this surgeon for a consultation based off lots of research but ultimately a comment made on here. I hope this helps other people find the right surgeon.

Well 7 weeks ago I choose this hospital over going abroad, I’m a 58 year old female.
I had a breast reduction and uplift with Omar quaba junior.
From start to finish the surgeon , nurses and any staff were very understanding and very helpful.
After surgery I was worried about a few things so phoned them the said it’s all normal but if you want to come along we will check you out , nothing was a hassle or problem, other times I’d email pics n they would say pop in and we will put your mind at ease( I’m a worrier) .
I never felt that they were thinking anything else but my well being my surgeon would come by my check ups just to say hi and check how I was healing .
Nurses were also making sure I was mentally good with how I looked and was feeling.
So if you’re thinking of having anything done here I would 1000% go here. Good luck to anybody just waiting on surgery here you won’t regret getting it done here .

The results even from two weeks are beyond what i expected and i couldn't be happier. Had a consultation with Mr Awf Quaba recently and was very happy with the whole process. From the ladies at the front desk who made us feel very welcome upon arrival, a short wait as we’d arrived very early for our appointment in a lovely relaxed setting with a nice selection of refreshments, then the consultation itself which was very informative and exactly how we’d hoped it would be. Very happy overall.

I saw the dermatologist Ben Alderidge for a suspicious skin anomaly, he immediately put me at ease and I felt I was in the company of someone who very much knew what he was talking about. I recently had an ultrasound done at Waterfront Hospital. It was really easy to make an appointment online. Upon arrival the building is immaculate inside and outside. It is very inviting and the staff was lovely. My ultrasound technician Dora was amazing and wonderful as she was so caring during my ultrasound. I had a consultation after my ultrasound with Doctor Quaba. He was also very lovely and attentive. We went through my ultrasound, which turned out free and clear of any issues. I was given my results immediately to take home with me.There was no hard selling on anything, just a very pleasurable doctor experience. I would definitely come back for other services. I got a full report from the doctor the next day with all that was discussed and done. Amazing service!

After seeing a post online about the Allergan implant recall I was super anxious as I suspected these may be the ones I have. I contacted Waterfront and within a few hours the reception staff had pulled my notes and sent me over an email with lots of descriptive information in regards to this.
With being the worlds worst worrier and googler I was still feeling super anxious about everything so I booked an ultrasound and consultation with Mr Quaba, who was my surgeon 9 years ago.
My ultrasound was with Dr Zachari. She was so lovely, she made me feel totally at ease and took the time to explain everything and reassure me whilst preforming my ultrasound. Afterwords I had my consultation with Mr Quaba who again took his time explaining everything, advising me what he felt was best to do whilst taking how I was feeling into consideration.
To anyone who is currently in my situation and wants that peace of mind I couldn’t recommend this service and Waterfront anymore.

Great experience. Dr. Nassar was polite and professional as he presented all the options to me. They were able to squeeze me in for the minor procedure on the same day which was a pleasant surprise as the location is a bit far away for me and they are usually not able to accommodate a same day procedure. The procedure itself was fast, smooth, and I have no complications or complaints afterwards. The trickiest part was figuring out how to get into the building which involves an intercom but the door person just let me in right away when they saw me. Thank you!

I knew straight away that he was the man to do my surgery! Fast forward to the May and I was treated amazingly before and after my operation. I can honestly hand on heart say that he has changed my life by fixing my breasts after years of breastfeeding and losing weight, now I cannot wait for the summer to wear clothes that before my operation just wasn’t possible! After having a botched mastopexy with implants and uplift at Manchester Private Hospital, I was extremely nervous about going through revision surgery. Because of this, I did a huge amount of research before making any decisions.
My experience with Waterfront Private Hospital was incredible. From the very beginning, Dr Omar Quaba was extremely informative and honest. He explained things to me that I hadn’t been told during my first surgery, and he was very realistic about what could be achieved with a revision, which really helped manage expectations and build trust again from my previous surgery experience.
I am now five months post-surgery and I honestly couldn’t be happier with my results – they look absolutely incredible and have exceeded all expectations, especially with being a revision. I am so glad I went ahead with revision surgery and chose wisely who I went with!
The entire team at Waterfront Private Hospital were amazing. From the nurse who took me into surgery, to the anaesthetist, and the team involved in my follow-up care, everyone was kind, professional, and supportive. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they were always available when I needed them, even calling to check in post-surgery.
I would honestly only recommend Waterfront Private Hospital and am so grateful for the care and results I received.

Brilliant experience! Friendly and efficient welcoming staff in a spotless and relaxing waiting area; tea, coffee and water available. Medical staff are also friendly, making you feel at ease even if you are tense about your condition, and very professionally expert. I saw Dr Ben Aldridge about a skin lesion diagnosed as a Basal/squamour cell carcinoma. I had watched the lesion grow over several weeks and was anxious for it to be removed before it developed further. I was immediately offered surgery under local anaesthetic the very next day when Dr Aldridge operated to remove the growth. I await the results of a biopsy, but the growth has been removed , The excision was quick and painless, neatly stitched and is now healing. Considerate, thorough and reassuring, he talked me through the process both before, during and after the operation. I can't speak more highly of Dr Aldridge and the staff at the Waterfront and for any dermatological diagnosis and procedure, would recommend this hospital without hesitation.

From consultation with Dr Awf Quaba to aftercare, there isn't a better , more considered , more humble genius
Before - I certainly know during and most definitely after surgery- you are in the best hands - but most of all , the best mind is thinking of exactly how to achieve your goal and literally exceed your expectations
At 49 - my surgery has given me a neck and face better than at 33 or before
Without looking fake , taught , tight or pulled
I had a couple of wobbles not smoking pre - but kept my mind on the goal
Our appearance means so much to us , without us even thinking about it sometimes- if you are worried or nervous, you needn't be. I don't think there is an issue that he can't solve for us
The whole team , from reception- could not be more amazing
My surgery was 11 days ago as of date of posting
Dr Quaba came recommended to me and for that, I am so grateful

I have never had surgery in my life so the thought of going through this was very daunting to me. The staff and surgeon himself made me feel fully comfortable from start to finish.
For a matter of years I had been very unhappy with this area of my body and always wanted to change it. From 2023 to 2025 I had attended consultations with a few different surgeons across Edinburgh and Glasgow and never left feeling 100% excited or comfortable. I was recommended Quaba and when leaving the first consultation with him I knew this was where I wanted to go. I was fully education about the surgery I was about to undergo and was given enough time to think about it all. During this time I was not pestered by phone calls or emails to book the surgery appointment.

I just had a minor procedure under local anaesthetic at the Waterfront Private hospital. The team here are great - really professional, very kind and great at communicating what’s going on at each step of the way. The procedure was undertaken by Mr Quaba who is very experienced, very good at explaining things and the procedure went extremely smoothly. It’s a brand new building, really clean and calm and very tastefully decorated. I highly recommend this place 👍🏼

I am currently doing my keloid scar treatment which is working wonders for my very active scars, very friendly staff and Dr. Quaba is a star. Really good prices and service. Highly recommend, they have a lot of treatments available.
