Mr Anderson graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1992 and gained an MSc from University College London in 1999. He trained in plastic surgery in Scotland, with time at a microsurgery centre in Taiwan and at the Dallas Children’s Hospital, and completed UK plastic surgery training in 2008.

I came here for a mastopexy last week, performed by Mr Anderson, and I cannot fault my experience. Everything went extremely well and I would highly recommend this hospital. All of the staff were kind, friendly, and professional. Laura, my nurse, was very caring and supportive throughout. My anaesthetist made me feel at ease before going into surgery and was lovely during the whole process. She even came to check on me at the end, which I really appreciated. When I woke up in recovery, Isabella looked after me and she was amazing. The whole team was excellent and I have no complaints at all. Mr Anderson clearly takes great care in his work and is an amazing surgeon.

Calming atmosphere in reception area with friendly staff. I managed to get a very early appointment and treatment the very same day which was so appreciated. Dr Aldridge was thorough, explained everything clearly and very reassuring. I felt taken care of.
I am now 10 months post breast augmentation with Dr Quaba, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with my decision!
After researching for quite some time, I had consultations with a few different surgeons, but Dr Quaba was by far the one I felt most comfortable and at ease with. Having undergone open-heart surgery as a little girl, going under anaesthetic was something I had thought long and hard about, and I had been sitting on the fence about having breast augmentation for years. It was so important for me to find a surgeon I felt I could completely trust, and Dr Quaba gave me that confidence.
After having four children and breastfeeding them all, I felt I had lost so much of my natural breast tissue. My confidence, especially wearing swimwear on holiday, just wasn’t where I wanted it to be anymore.

Had my six monthly skin review a month early as I had noticed a lesion near my eye. Dr Aldridge seen me within 48 hours and surgery arranged for a couple of weeks later to have the lesion removed (which was diagnosed as as an early skin cancer). Extremely efficient service yet again from Waterfront and being able to have these skin checks done routinely alleviates any worries for me as a person that has had several skin cancers over the years.

The hospital was easy to locate and parking was ample. On arrival all staff were welcoming. Dr Ben Aldridge was very pleasant and professional. However I would say the fee of £200 is quite excessive, as my assessment took less than 5 minutes and I felt the Dr was asking, if there was anything else he could help with as I was diagnosed so quickly …however the appointment has given me peace of mind and so I am pleased with that.

The hospital was clean, luxurious and smelt amazing on entry. I was given a very warm welcome by the staff members and taken to a lovely waiting area which helped to put me at ease before the procedure. I was then looked after by the nurse and taken to my room to be prepared for surgery.

i was well looked atfer from the minute I walked into the hospital there was a receptionist at the door who lead me upstair to where the waiting area was with tea coffee ect.and biscuits to have , Iwas booked in at the reception there .When I went into see Awf he explained in detail what would happen and I he helped me decide how far with my surgery I would like to go because i wasnt sure if I needed top eye lift and he helped me decide also explaining how the surgery would be carried out and the aftercare showing me before and after photos I have been to a couple of other hospitals to look at having surgery but for one reason or another I wasnt happy with the experience it felt more like a company than a place where I would have surgery done, but waterfront gave me the confidence to have my surgery done I was treated like a patient and I would also be well cared for before and after surgery

My experience with this surgeon was disappointing. After undergoing both upper and lower blepharoplasty, I was left with a significant indentation under one eye. I attempted to correct it with filler, but it did not resolve the issue enough to restore a normal contour. Despite raising my concerns, I did not receive adequate support, explanation, or a meaningful plan for correction. I am now looking elsewhere for corrective options. I would advise anyone considering this procedure to research thoroughly and ensure they choose a surgeon who provides comprehensive aftercare.

I had a wart on my face removed. Staff were kind and welcoming, and Dr Ben Aldridge was efficient and reassuring. It took a bit longer than expected to get an appointment, and it would have been helpful if I had been provided some printed take-home care instructions, as it can be difficult to retain information when you're feeling a bit anxious. My surgeon Mr Anderson was brilliant. He is very experienced and knowledgeable, but also empathetic, reassuring and has a great sense of humour, which really helped put me at ease. I felt listened to and completely in safe hands.
The only reason I’ve given 4 stars rather than 5 is that email responses weren’t always as quick as I would have liked, especially when I had questions or needed reassurance. That said, the care I received in person was excellent, and overall I’m very happy with my experience.

I recently had a consultation with Mr John Biddlestone regarding a septoplasty procedure, which will be both functional and cosmetic. From start to finish, the experience was excellent.
Mr Biddlestone was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and approachable. I have a pacemaker and had a number of questions and concerns about how this might affect my treatment. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my queries thoroughly, and made me feel completely reassured.

I did my research and this was the third consultation that I booked and paid for. This one was by far the most detailed and gave me the most confidence. It was my third consultation and I had already made my decision to with another surgeon prior to this consultation but as I had already paid rather than cancel I thought I might as well attend. This surgeon was a lot harder to get dates and although I have not had the surgery yet im so glad I waited. Well 7 weeks ago I choose this hospital over going abroad, I’m a 58 year old female. I had a breast reduction and uplift with Omar quaba junior. From start to finish the surgeon , nurses and any staff were very understanding and very helpful. After surgery I was worried about a few things so phoned them the said it’s all normal but if you want to come along we will check you out , nothing was a hassle or problem, other times I’d email pics n they would say pop in and we will put your mind at ease( I’m a worrier) . I never felt that they were thinking anything else but my well being my surgeon would come by my check ups just to say hi and check how I was healing . Nurses were also making sure I was mentally good with how I looked and was feeling. So if you’re thinking of having anything done here I would 1000% go here. Good luck to anybody just waiting on surgery here you won’t regret getting it done here .

First time having any type of surgery , Dr Awf Quaba performed septorhinoplasty on me, He is great at understanding exactly what type of nose you want and also very realistic at telling you what he cant and wont do so you know exactly what you're getting before you go into surgery, I felt very at ease and went in with no stress. Had a consultation with Mr Awf Quaba recently and was very happy with the whole process. From the ladies at the front desk who made us feel very welcome upon arrival, a short wait as we’d arrived very early for our appointment in a lovely relaxed setting with a nice selection of refreshments, then the consultation itself which was very informative and exactly how we’d hoped it would be. Very happy overall.
So far I've only had an initial consultation but i found all staff I encountered to be welcoming, warm and professional. Dr Quaba was able to settle all my nerves about the process and I am happily pursuing them for my surgical needs.

Hello. Firstly it was a greate pleasure to receive the surgery By Mr Will Anderson. He is a great surgeon and very helpfull. He is a greate specialist in terms of plastic surgery(gynecomastia), due to his great knowledge i received great treatment ,and im fully satisfied. He boosted my confidence. The reception staff is very helpfull!. The nurse Mr Damien,was a fantastic chap and very helpfull, as after the two days of operation,he gave me a phone call to check up and see how i am feeling. I am also thankfull of the other nurses ,such as Olga and the rest of the other staff. You are a great team! Thank you so much. I saw the dermatologist Ben Alderidge for a suspicious skin anomaly, he immediately put me at ease and I felt I was in the company of someone who very much knew what he was talking about. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ben Alderidge to anyone who has worries about possible skin cancer lesions, I believe he is one of the top dermatologists in his field. The Waterfront Hospital itself was of a very clean high standard, and all the staff very professional.
I had a great experience at Waterfront Hospital with Dr. Nassar. I had a cherry angioma and a mole removed, and the whole process was handled very professionally while still feeling warm and friendly. Dr. Nassar explained the procedure clearly, made me feel comfortable throughout, and answered all my questions. The intervention went smoothly and I felt very well cared for from start to finish. I recently had an ultrasound done at Waterfront Hospital. It was really easy to make an appointment online. Upon arrival the building is immaculate inside and outside. It is very inviting and the staff was lovely. My ultrasound technician Dora was amazing and wonderful as she was so caring during my ultrasound. I had a consultation after my ultrasound with Doctor Quaba. He was also very lovely and attentive. We went through my ultrasound, which turned out free and clear of any issues. I was given my results immediately to take home with me.There was no hard selling on anything, just a very pleasurable doctor experience. I would definitely come back for other services. I got a full report from the doctor the next day with all that was discussed and done. Amazing service!
After seeing a post online about the Allergan implant recall I was super anxious as I suspected these may be the ones I have. I contacted Waterfront and within a few hours the reception staff had pulled my notes and sent me over an email with lots of descriptive information in regards to this.
With being the worlds worst worrier and googler I was still feeling super anxious about everything so I booked an ultrasound and consultation with Mr Quaba, who was my surgeon 9 years ago.
My ultrasound was with Dr Zachari. She was so lovely, she made me feel totally at ease and took the time to explain everything and reassure me whilst preforming my ultrasound. Afterwords I had my consultation with Mr Quaba who again took his time explaining everything, advising me what he felt was best to do whilst taking how I was feeling into consideration.
To anyone who is currently in my situation and wants that peace of mind I couldn’t recommend this service and Waterfront anymore.
Great experience. Dr. Nassar was polite and professional as he presented all the options to me. They were able to squeeze me in for the minor procedure on the same day which was a pleasant surprise as the location is a bit far away for me and they are usually not able to accommodate a same day procedure. The procedure itself was fast, smooth, and I have no complications or complaints afterwards. The trickiest part was figuring out how to get into the building which involves an intercom but the door person just let me in right away when they saw me. Thank you!

I had a breast uplift and implants with done by Dr Awf Quaba back in May last year, from the moment I stepped into the building I felt at ease, my first consultation was back in January 2025 and I found Dr Quaba very lovely and made me feel comfortable. I knew straight away that he was the man to do my surgery! Fast forward to the May and I was treated amazingly before and after my operation. I can honestly hand on heart say that he has changed my life by fixing my breasts after years of breastfeeding and losing weight, now I cannot wait for the summer to wear clothes that before my operation just wasn’t possible! Mr Quaba is by far the best facial surgeon in the country. I have worked in Medical Indemnity Insurance for private practice surgeons and am well aware of the clinical outcomes for Briains greatest surgeons. But when I decided to choose a surgeon for myself Mr Quaba senior was indeed the best choice and I have to say provided and incredible result I expected. A true honest talented surgeon who always puts the patients health first.

After having a botched mastopexy with implants and uplift at Manchester Private Hospital, I was extremely nervous about going through revision surgery. Because of this, I did a huge amount of research before making any decisions.
My experience with Waterfront Private Hospital was incredible. From the very beginning, Dr Omar Quaba was extremely informative and honest. He explained things to me that I hadn’t been told during my first surgery, and he was very realistic about what could be achieved with a revision, which really helped manage expectations and build trust again from my previous surgery experience.

I came here for a mastopexy last week, performed by Mr Anderson, and I cannot fault my experience. Everything went extremely well and I would highly recommend this hospital.
All of the staff were kind, friendly, and professional. Laura, my nurse, was very caring and supportive throughout. My anaesthetist made me feel at ease before going into surgery and was lovely during the whole process. She even came to check on me at the end, which I really appreciated. When I woke up in recovery, Isabella looked after me and she was amazing.
The whole team was excellent and I have no complaints at all. Mr Anderson clearly takes great care in his work and is an amazing surgeon.

Brilliant experience! Friendly and efficient welcoming staff in a spotless and relaxing waiting area; tea, coffee and water available. Medical staff are also friendly, making you feel at ease even if you are tense about your condition, and very professionally expert. I saw Dr Ben Aldridge about a skin lesion diagnosed as a Basal/squamour cell carcinoma. I had watched the lesion grow over several weeks and was anxious for it to be removed before it developed further. I was immediately offered surgery under local anaesthetic the very next day when Dr Aldridge operated to remove the growth. I await the results of a biopsy, but the growth has been removed , The excision was quick and painless, neatly stitched and is now healing. Considerate, thorough and reassuring, he talked me through the process both before, during and after the operation. I can't speak more highly of Dr Aldridge and the staff at the Waterfront and for any dermatological diagnosis and procedure, would recommend this hospital without hesitation.
I’m one day post-op at the Waterfront Private Hospital in Edinburgh and couldn’t be happier with my experience. From my first consultation two months ago to surgery day, the care has been exceptional. I attended an appointment to see Dr Ben Aldridge for a skin issue i wanted checked out for cancer. After initial consultant a sample from one of the growth were removed and sent for testing all very painless and all explained clearly a nice Doctor. The hospital is spotless and staff all very nice . Parking on site is great to.
I was super anxious as this was my first time under general anaesthetic, but the team at Waterfront Private Hospital were amazing from start to finish. Dr. Will Anderson explained everything clearly and put me at ease from the consultation onwards. On the day, Damien greeted me by name (he’s definitely my “fairy godmother” of the day!) and made me feel welcome straight away. Joanna, my anaesthetist, and Piel in surgery were so friendly and reassuring, which kept me calm. When I woke up, Isabella was by my side making sure I was comfortable and cared for. I visited Dr Omar Quaba for breast augmentation/Up lift surgery and I couldn’t be happier with my experience and result. I have never had surgery in my life so the thought of going through this was very daunting to me. The staff and surgeon himself made me feel fully comfortable from start to finish.
For a matter of years I had been very unhappy with this area of my body and always wanted to change it. From 2023 to 2025 I had attended consultations with a few different surgeons across Edinburgh and Glasgow and never left feeling 100% excited or comfortable. I was recommended Quaba and when leaving the first consultation with him I knew this was where I wanted to go. I was fully education about the surgery I was about to undergo and was given enough time to think about it all. During this time I was not pestered by phone calls or emails to book the surgery appointment.
