John Biddlestone is a fully accredited plastic surgeon on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. He is currently the Clinical Lead of the Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit in Glasgow, one of the largest plastic surgery units in the UK.

He studied medicine at the University of Cambridge and also holds an award-winning PhD in Gene Regulation and Expression, combining scientific research with clinical expertise.

He completed his specialist plastic surgery training with fellowships in microsurgery and facial reanimation, developing particular expertise in facial aesthetics, rhinoplasty, and reconstruction of complex head and neck conditions.

John has authored numerous peer-reviewed papers, presented research internationally, and contributed to medical textbooks. He chairs professional meetings, sits on advisory boards, and is actively involved in training the next generation of plastic surgeons.
